Jesus is referred to as the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. His story truly goes from the beginning to the end. While we may think of the Christmas story as a few verses at the beginning of Matthew's and Luke's gospels, the story of Jesus actually begins in the book of Genesis. Once mankind sinned, God put His plan into motion. For the next 4000 years God made preparations to send His Son Jesus into the world--this Jesus who was born of a virgin, preached repentance, died on a cross, was buried, and rose from the grave. What you don't want to miss is that His story is your story. Everything that He did was done for you so that you could spend eternity with Him.
