"This Means War" sounds just a bit aggressive for a sermon series. However, we as Christians and we as God's Church need to understand that there is a battle going on in our culture today that is trying to destroy much of that on which the Church stands. The Church is to take an aggressive posture against the enemy. Jesus reminded His disciples, and us today, that ultimately the gates of hell shall not be able to withstand the power of His Church.
